Located on the Nova Bocana of the Port of Barcelona, which connects the city's historic center to the Mediterranean, W Barcelona has direct beach access at the entrance to the world-famous boardwalk of La Barceloneta. The hotel is 30 minutes away from International Airport El Prat by car, and a short stroll to Ciutat Vella, Passeig del Born and Las Ramblas. Bus lines 17, 39 and 64 stop right in front of the hotel and the closest metro station, La Barceloneta, is at 15-minutes walking distance.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM BARCELONA EL PRAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Merge onto Autovía de Castelldefels/C-31 via the ramp to Barcelona. Keep right and take exit 196B merging onto B-10/Ronda del Litoral. Take exit 21 towards Port Vell and merge onto Passeig de Josep Carner. At the roundabout, Plaça de Colom, take the first exit onto Passeig de Colom. Turn right at Pas de Sota Muralla and then take first right at Plaça de Pau Vila. Continue onto Passeig del Comte de Barcelona Joan de Borbó until you reach the hotel at the end on Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents. (click here, for assistance from the W Insider)

FROM GIRONA, COSTA BRAVA OR FRANCE
Take the toll AP-7/E-15 towards Barcelona. Follow Turnpike C-33/Barcelona. Take the exit towards Barcelona Ronda / Port. Merge onto Autopista del Vallès. Follow Ronda del Litoral. Take Exit 22 Barceloneta. Merge onto Carrer del Doctor Aiguader. Turn left to stay on Plaça de Pau Vila and turn left again towards Passeig de Joan de Borbó until you reach the hotel at the end on Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents.

FROM LLEIDA, ZARAGOZA OR MADRID
Join the E-90/AP-2 towards Barcelona. Follow Ronda del Litoral. At exit 21 Ciutat Vella, merge onto Passeig de Josep Carner. At roundabout Plaça de Colom, take exit 1 and continue on Passeig de Colom. Turn right at Pas de Sota Muralla and turn right again at Plaça de Pau Vila towards Passeig de Joan de Borbó until you reach the end on Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents.

FROM TARRAGONA AND VALENCIA
Merge onto E-15/AP-7. Take exit 31 and turn onto C-32. Take exit 16B to join B-10/Ronda Coastal Barcelona/E-90 direction. At exit 21 Ciutat Vella, merge onto Passeig de Josep Carner. At roundabout Plaça de Colom, take first exit and continue on Passeig de Colom. Turn right at Pas de Sota Muralla and turn right again at Plaça de Pau Vila towards Passeig de Joan de Borbó until you reach the end on Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents.
